Maria Sharapova




Maria Yuryevna Sharapova (born April 19, 1987) is a Russian professional tennis player and the current World No. 1. At the end of 2006, she was the world's highest-paid female athlete.
Sharapova has won two Grand Slam singles titles. She is the reigning U.S. Open champion, having defeated Justine Henin in the final of the 2006 U.S. Open. Two years earlier, she defeated Serena Williams in the final at Wimbledon.

Justine Henin




Justine Henin (born June 1, 1982 in Liège) is a Belgian professional tennis player and a former World No. 1. She is currently the second ranked female tennis player in the world.

Henin is from the Walloon (French-speaking) region of Belgium. Her mental toughness and her one-handed backhand, a stroke which John McEnroe has called among the best backhands of any male or female player, are reasons she is one of the world's best players. As of November 2006, she has won five Grand Slam singles titles, including three French Open singles titles, as well as a gold medal in singles at the 2004 Summer Olympics.

Caroline Wozniacki (born July 11, 1990, Odense) is a Danish tennis player. As of February 5, 2007. Being born to Polish parents, she is trilingual, fluent in Polish as well as Danish and English.
